1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern all transportation and logistics services provided by Flying Hawk ("Service Provider") to the Customer ("Customer").

By booking or using our services, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Flying Hawk reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to future shipments.

Any terms proposed by the Customer that conflict with these Terms & Conditions shall not apply unless expressly agreed to in writing by Flying Hawk.

2. Shipping Documentation

Before shipment, the Customer must provide:

  • Full sender and recipient details (name, address and telephone number)

  • An accurate declaration of all goods being shipped

  • Purchase invoice or proof of purchase where required

  • Correct quantity and declared value of all items

Flying Hawk reserves the right to refuse any shipment if the required documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.

The Customer is solely responsible for complying with all customs, import and export regulations.

Flying Hawk shall not be liable for shipments delayed, inspected, confiscated or destroyed by customs authorities.

3. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer confirms that:

  • They are the legal owner or authorised sender of all goods.

  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

  • The shipment complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • The declared weight, dimensions and contents are correct.

The Customer agrees to indemnify Flying Hawk against any claims, penalties, damages or costs arising from incorrect declarations or violations of applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are not accepted for transport:

  • Flammable sprays and perfumes

  • Cash, currency, precious metals, gold, silver or diamonds

  • Weapons and ammunition

  • Illegal drugs, chemicals and narcotics

  • Medicines (unless specifically accepted)

  • Live animals or human remains

  • Radioactive materials

  • Laptops, bicycles or items containing batteries (unless approved)

  • Corrosive or acidic substances

  • Any hazardous or restricted goods

Flying Hawk reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its sole discretion.

5. Packaging Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipments are properly packed.

Requirements include:

  • Maximum weight: 20 kg per package

  • Fragile items must be protected with sufficient shock-absorbing materials

  • Boxes must be securely sealed and reinforced

  • High-value items require additional protective packaging

Weight is rounded up to the nearest 0.5 kg.

Oversized packages exceeding 48 × 34 × 33 cm may incur additional charges.

Professional packing services are available for an additional fee.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Euro (€).

Invoices must be paid within 3 days of the invoice date.

Payments may be made by:

  • Bank transfer

  • International SWIFT transfer

  • Cash (Euro only, where accepted)

7. Limitation of Liability

Flying Hawk will use reasonable care in handling every shipment.

However, Flying Hawk shall not be liable for loss, delay or damage resulting from:

  • Customs inspections or confiscation

  • Incorrect declarations by the Customer

  • Improper or insufficient packaging

  • Weather conditions or temperature variations

  • Force majeure, including natural disasters, epidemics or civil unrest

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Missing documentation

  • Goods sensitive to climate or humidity

Flying Hawk does not inspect the contents of sealed packages and relies on the information provided by the Customer.

8. Cargo Insurance

Cargo insurance is not included unless agreed in writing.

Customers may purchase cargo insurance separately.

Claims:

  • 100% compensation (goods value and shipping costs) applies only when cargo insurance has been purchased.

  • Without insurance, compensation is limited to 50% of the shipping fee, provided:

    • damage is reported within 24 hours;

    • photo and video evidence is supplied; and

    • the damage can be verified.

False declarations may result in a penalty of 30% of the shipment value, in addition to any costs incurred.

Claims will not be accepted for:

  • Force majeure

  • Customs seizure or confiscation

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Improper packaging

  • Missing documentation

  • Climate-sensitive goods

  • Damage occurring before arrival at Flying Hawk's warehouse

9. Privacy

Flying Hawk treats customer information as confidential.

However, information may be disclosed to customs authorities, law enforcement agencies or other competent authorities where required by law or where prohibited goods are suspected.

10. Service Commitment

Flying Hawk is committed to providing reliable transportation services, timely communication and regular shipment updates.

Flying Hawk reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions. Any changes will be published before they become effective.
